From what I've read in this thread, S & W MP's serial # must move to the next letter in the alphabet at 9,999. That makes sense to me anyway. Mine is MPB35XX bought on July 22nd, 2006.Call them a little after 8AM Eastern on a Wednesday or Thursday. If you get a cool CS rep they can pull up a screen that has more info then you need to know. Date of manufacture, distributor sold to, etc. They will need your serial number.
