It seems that the subcompact slide is almost identical to the x compact slide. However after searching the internet for answers, I read that the x compact slide is 7 inches and the subcompact slide is 6.63 inches. I owned an X-Carry and now have the X-Compact. The X-Compact has a higher cut under the trigger guard, and under the beaver tail. I like a high grip, so that's great. On the other hand, the Xgrip has a little flare at the toe of the grip, as a baby magwell.
